Progress Report

In the middle of December we entered into a public beta phase of the site.  The test site is now accessible from the front page of the old site. Plenty remains to do.

Currently, the middle of October 2007, we are in alpha development of the first phase of the Montreal.com Drupal site.

This is envisioned to be similar to the existing online site, that is, a single section magazine with a general orientation focused on the Montreal area.  It will have vastly superior features and capabilities compared to the old site, all made possible by our switch from a static HTML framework to the use of the Drupal CMS.

We are currently ironing out bugs and integrating features.  Before we bring it online for testing we hope to have enabled at least some of the interactive features that are a part of Drupal so that visitors here will be able to participate on the site.
